Well having a thatcher as a father certainly gains some interest from new acquaintances and friends and it’s certainly hard to compete with in the “what do you do” stakes and parties. I’m still working on something I do that’s as interesting but before anyone asks me again, no, thatching is not something I’ve ever thought about doing, my Dad does a good enough job for the both us.
